FBCNN MUSIC MINISTRY
Praising God Through Music

                         SWINGIN' SINGERS

30 years of Music Ministry: 1979 - 2009

The Swingin' Singers is open to all those who have reached at least 55 years of age, whether or not they attend First Baptist Church.  The group meets every Friday (except the 3rd Friday) at 10:00 am. for refreshments and rehearsal.  This group's greatest ministry is singing in nursing homes, senior adult centers, and convalescent centers throughout Hampton Roads.  The Swingin' Singers enjoy traveling as well, whether a 3-day trip to the Amish Country, or a day trip to Monticello, or to senior adult seminars.  This choir participates in "The Singing Christmas Tree" and usually presents a musical during the Spring.  This group never misses an opportunity to party, whether it's a "Back to School" party, or a "Bleak Mid-winter" party, Valentine's Day, Open House, etc.
